What PolyCiv collects, why it needs it, and what you can do about it. Plain language, no padding.

This policy covers the PolyCiv game on iOS, Android, and the web, and the backend that runs its multiplayer games.
Your email address, if you give us one. If you sign in with Apple Game Center or Google Play Games, we store the stable player id that service gives us. We also store a display name and a shareable friend code, plus when the account was created and when it was last active. Guest accounts store only an internal identifier.
The games you play, the actions you take in them, how they end, and your skill rating. We need this to run multiplayer games, match you with opponents, and build leaderboards.
Friend requests, friendships, blocks, and game invites.
If you allow notifications, we store a push token, a device identifier, and your platform (iOS or Android) so we can tell you when it's your turn. Notifications are delivered through Apple Push Notification service and Firebase Cloud Messaging.
A record of your in-app purchases and your in-game gem balance. Payment is handled entirely by Apple or Google. We never see your card details.
PolyCiv shows ads through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers, an approximate location derived from your IP address, and data about how you interact with ads. That collection is Google's and is governed by Google's privacy policy. Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before showing personalised ads, on first launch.
PolyCiv does not collect your contacts, your photos, your precise location, or anything from your microphone or camera.
We do not sell personal data.
Account, gameplay, and social data are kept for as long as your account exists. Push tokens are removed once they stop working or you turn notifications off.
If you ask us to delete your account, we remove the account record and detach your data from it.
Depending on where you live, you may also have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your data, and to object to some processing. Email us and we'll honour it.
PolyCiv is not directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data. If you believe we have, email us and we'll delete it.
If this policy changes, we update this page and the effective date at the top. We announce material changes in the game.
